We are excited to announce a new
Affordable Senior Housing Project...  our Myrtle Avenue Property
off Chinowith Street in Visalia.
This special project is being developed
by the Housing Authority of Tulare County,
partnering with Visalia Senior Housing.

65 one & two bedroom units

coming in the near future

A new exciting project is just underway, with a newly formed partnership between Self Help Enterprises and Visalia Senior Housing.  Up to 180 Affordable Senior Housing units with special Community Facilities are in the works.

Sharon ADAMS
Sharon Adams, a Central Valley, California native, has dedicated her life to enriching others through education, community service, and music. After graduating from Fresno State with a degree in English and Speech, she enjoyed a fulfilling 25-year career as a middle school teacher in her community,
Sharon is actively involved in various organizations and plays a vital role in her church. As President of the Senior Housing Board, appointed in 2023, she focuses on addressing seniors' needs and ensuring they have access to enriching experiences.  Her passion for music has led her to perform with the Senior Singers, spreading joy in retirement homes and enhancing the lives of seniors.  
Married for 56 years, she and her husband, Dave, have two daughters, their husbands, and two grandchildren, who bring her immense pride and joy. Looking to the future, Sharon is committed to continuing her service to the elderly community, drawing on her experience and dedication to making a positive impact.
